Biomass Pellet Boilers

Biomass pellet boilers are a carbon neutral alternative to gas, oil or electric central heating. They can be used to completely replace the boiler in an existing central heating system, with woody pellets, wood chips or logs used as the fuel instead of gas, oil or electricity.

They are particularly cost-effective in areas without connection to mains gas supply, due to the high price of heating oil and LPG.

Along with the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), the rate of return on investments in renewable heat technology is particularly generous, with many biomass installations paying for themselves well within the 7-year payment period.

AGMS Independent Energy are currently the only independent MCS accredited installers of biomass heating systems in Bedfordshire, and can issue an MCS certificate, enabling you to apply for RHI payments.

We can also advise you on the most cost-effective carbon neutral heating options, such as biomass pellet boilers, solar thermal, wood boiler stoves, and their integration into thermal stores to supplement or to provide all of your heating and hot water needs.

We service the whole of Bedfordshire, including Milton Keynes, Huntington, Biggleswade, Luton, Leighton Buzzard, and St Neots.
